America's Hometown

What better place for Charlie to see her first Thanksgiving Parade than Plymouth, MA! The crowd was estimated to be 140,000 people, but nevertheless we snagged front row seats for the marching bands, bagpipe players, drum and fife troupes, and the MANY re-enactors firing their muskets (our ears are still ringing).

Charlie fortifies herself with a pumpkin scone before the excitement begins.
Charlie and her Dora the Explorer balloon do a little dance of anticipation.
Here comes the parade!
Clearly the home of Plymouth Rock could not possibly have a parade without a Mayflower float.
Yeah! Parades are fun!
