Charlie in Wonderland

Ah, Central Park truly is a wonderland. We arrived in the park bright and early on Sunday morning with one mission: see the Delacorte Clock chime at 9 a.m. If you read my last post, you know that two of Charlie's favorite things are animals and clocks. When the Delacorte Clock chimes, animal sculptures move around it while a tune plays. For Charlie, this was a match made in heaven -- we literally had to drag her away crying when it was over. "More monkeys! More clocks!" is a refrain that we heard as recently as this morning. Clearly the clock made quite an impression. While in Central Park we also spent some time climbing around and on the Alice in Wonderland sculpture. We wish that we had had more time to explore Central Park...next trip!
