Our morning bike ride was sidetracked by a new playground -- the playground at the Spy Pond on the Minuteman Bike Path. "Mike Mulligan and His Steam Shovel" is one of Charlie's newest favorite books so she was very excited to see the sand diggers. While not steam shovels in the least, in the eyes of a two year old, they were close enough.
Being a bit too short (even though her recent doctor's appointment found her to be in the 90% for her height), Chris had to help Charlie work the levers.
Charlie gave up on the digger when she found her hands worked just as well.
We are stymied as to what animal this might be, but Charlie liked it.
