A Tribute to the Kitchen Counter

Not unlike many households, a lot of our activity takes place at the kitchen counter -- a fact that I didn't fully realize until I reviewed this batch of photos from the last week.

Sampling the first pick of our tomato crop (the amount of tomatoes still green on the vine is insane - soon we are going to find ourselves drowning in tomatoes).



Farmer Charlie leaves the kitchen counter to wave about the last carrot picked from our garden. Regretfully, it was a very small harvest. Better luck next year, we hope.
