Finally, Chris and I are treating our yard like the long term commitment that it is. How, you might ask, have we done this? Why, by planting bulbs, of course! Fingers crossed -- two varieties each of tulips, daffodils, and crocus should beautify our yard come spring.
We also tackled the daunting task of starting to dig out "fern mountain" - a bizarre spot in our side yard full of giant rocks and ferns gone wild. I loathe the ferns and the rock formation makes no sense. Charlie helped by taking the rocks for a ride...in her bare feet.
