Can anyone get Chris and I jobs in the Bay Area? Combine fantastic weather with an abundance of doting aunts, uncles, grandmothers, and cousins (including many Charlie-aged), and it's a nearly perfect vacation spot. If we lived there, the bliss might kill us.
The Cousins. First off, Tyler. Tyler is a mere 11 months younger than Charlie. While they mostly participated in parallel play, we see a lot of mischievous activity for them in the future.
Mesmerized by the Wii...

Playing with Nana's toys.

With a little encouragement, Tyler heads in for a kiss!

Cousins continued - Tenley and Calvin. The twins are less than three months younger than Charlie (but taller!). The first and only other time Charlie met them, she made Tenley cry almost the entire visit, so this trip to Cornerstone Gardens in Sonoma was a great success in comparison!

The "big" cousins - Emma (7) and Noah (9). Both were so incredibly kind and gentle and wonderful to Charlie -- Emma in particular has become Charlie's idol.
The many faces of Noah:

Two future heartbreakers.

Charlie's best playmate of all on the trip was her Nana. At nearly 85 years, she's still very young at heart, and Charlie loved every minute of their time together.

There was a cousin on this outing, but no photographic evidence - Taylor, who so generously met Charlie and I in Golden Gate Park.

We also have no pictures of cousins Gus, Eric, and Kristy; Aunts Donna, Mary Ann, and Linda; or Uncles Bart, Rick, Keith and Doug! It's no joke when we say we have a lot of Bay Area family!
And while these pictures don't fit my family theme - they're definitely worth sharing:
Train Town, Sonoma.

Joining a dance lesson in San Francisco's Union Square.

Listening to the barking seals at Fisherman's Wharf.

Interactive fun at The Exploratorium.

And just because.
