Public transportation as artistic inspiration

At five years old, Charlie is a seasoned public transportation rider. Each school day, she takes the Brown Line L (with a parent, of course) from Addison to Sedgwick and back again. When the Sedgwick stop was renovated awhile back, they added some very cool mosaics to the interior. Recently, Charlie and Chris started talking about making one of their own. What better subject for their art project than Charlie's most recent obsession: all things Halloween.

Charlie cut the eyes and nose for the pumpkin and then let her artist's assistant do most of the work, while focusing on the finer points like glue drips.
More art; the art of dance
Dancing and supervising makes a girl hungry.
Ta Da! Mosiac pumpkin masterpiece!
