Florida 2012: Part 2 - Walt Disney World

This post really deserves more attention, but tomorrow is the first day of school and then we have Charlie's birthday, and oh, my god, I have no time.  But, if I don't post now, it'll be Christmas before I get to all these photos!

Characters, characters, characters!  Charlie was a good sport with all of them.  Juliet refused to go near Mickey, Minnie, Donald and friends.  She was very reserved with the assorted Princesses.  And she basically assaulted Winnie the Pooh.  It was like nothing I have ever seen before from her.  It was like she was his long lost cub.  Adorable...and a little weird.  But mostly adorable.  And the rest of his friends, pffttfft, who cares, her enthusiasm did not extend to Tigger or Eyore.

The closest Juliet got to Mickey.

At the Cinderalla castle breakfast, Juliet rocked her princess dress and a refusal to smile for the camera. She was in a bit of awe though.

Winnie the Pooh!

Rides!  Charlie rode the Mountain Trifecta:  Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, Splash Mountain.  The look on her face in the Space Mountain ride picture pretty much says it all.  She was not interested in a second ride but happy that she gave it a shot.

We took a bike ride to a horse farm and sweated like nobody's business.

Another Mickey that was not too frightening.

Charlie counterbalanced being called "princess" (torturous for her) at every turn by embracing her Jedi self.

Last night at Disney - a trip to the Boardwalk, a performance by a magician, and a few pictures with the cousins.

We had a caricature made of Charlie when we were at Disney four years ago and so wanted to do it again for both girls.  We cannot believe how wonderfully the artist captured Charlie and Juliet.  Perfection.  It's a wonderful souvenir from our trip!
