Grammy comes to town!

I have so many pictures to post that I'll keep the exposition brief! Charlie's Grammy Sue came to spend the weekend, and we found our new favorite place in the Boston area, spent a lot of time outside enjoying the Spring warmth, caught a play, ate some food, and flew the kite. It was a wonderful and relaxing visit - thanks for coming, Mom!

Our new favorite place? The DeCordova Museum and Sculpture Garden. We're not sure why we haven't visited before. It was an excellent spot to have a picnic, run around, and see loads of cool sculptures.

In addition to the sculpture, there were a whole lot of pine cones to gather.
Grammy indulged Charlie's love of all things fancy by painting both her fingernails and her toenails.

Sunday morning, we headed to Brookline for a kids' performance of Cinderella and brunch at Matt Murphy's Pub. Dancing on the stage following the show.
Posing for a picture with Cinderella with Prince Charming in the background.
While the grown-ups walked off their breakfasts, Charlie continued hers while riding on Chris's shoulders (he had more than a few crumbs in his hair).
After Charlie napped, and we put Sue to work helping us clean up our yard, we all headed to the park for a little kite flying.
Our very own Cinderella/Fairy Godmother combo does the dinner dishes.
